My mom has had this friend forever. She really misses her because she has lost touch with her and has not seen her since high school. She is always asking me if I can look online at a people search engine and find where she lives. Well so far I have had no luck but I still am trying. One day when I was babysitting my little sister this woman came to the door. I answered it and she asked me if my mom still lived here. I told her yes. She said she was wondering because she has not seen her for a very long time. So I told my mom when she came home and she was very upset that I did not get her phone number because it was her long lost friend of many years. I did not know at the time that she was wanting to get in touch with her. She used to tell me stories of her and her friend when they were younger now I feel really bad that I did not get the lady's phone number. I have been looking for her ever since then. I was younger then so it never really crossed my mind. The lady said she would stop back again but never came back. Maybe now I will be able to find her.
When ever I think of Ken and I it is always so amazing to me. It seems like just yesterday we meet for the very first time. I never get bored with him and I hope he feels the same way with me. We are always busy and we have so much in common that there is always something to do. Whether it be around the house of one of our many hobbies that we enjoy doing together. Well just yesterday was Madison's second birthday. It always seems to make me realize how long we have been together. We have a four year old and a two year old. It seems like these kids just appeared because it seems as if our time is going so fast. I sure hope it slows down some. Before you know it we will be retired baby sitting our grand children.
Did you ever notice that when you were first applying for a credit card so many people would turn you down. When I would get the letter that said why I was not approved it would always say that it was because I did not have enough credit to be given a credit card yet. Well if you ask me I would think that would be a great reason to be given a credit card. How on earth was I going to ever get credit if I was never given a card to obtain it with. Well I guess I can see where the companies were coming from because I would not want to give anyone credit if I did not know if they were going to pay me back either. Some places do actually help you to Establish Credit Score. They will give you a card if you have no credit. Well That is great because if you have no credit then you can get some with the help of this card. Then you are your way to doing just about anything. Just remember they are trusting you so keep up your end of the deal and make your payments, if you don't you will have a very hard time in the future.
Last weekend Ken the kids and I decided to get up really early to go and see all Monee had to offer because they were having garage sale days. We wanted to get all the bargains so Ken took off work on Friday. We went around the whole town. When we went across the highway Ken took me into a very nice neighborhood with really fancy houses. They all were so very nice and all had the same uniform mailboxes. That was the first thing I noticed when we were driving through the subdivision. Then I started talking with Ken and told him that I think we need a new mailbox. Ours always collects water inside and when it rain if you don't get the mail right away it all gets wet. We could also use some new house numbers because for some strange realson the ups and fed ex never deliver packages to the right locations. I think that the address plaques were so elegant on these ritzy houses. It might not look right on ours but what about yours? One thing is for sure the neighborhood was beautiful because it was so uniform.
Well today is my little sisters big thirteenth birthday. I have to work tonight so I will not be able to see her today but I am in charge of making her big birthday cake for her party this Saturday. So on Friday I will make it. She has decided that she wants a chocolate cake with white frosting. That is easy enough I guess. I asked her if she also wanted a theme of some sort but she said that she would just rather have it be a plain cake. So that's what it will be I guess. She is having her party at the Park by my parents house then a sleepover with a few girl friends afterwards. Hard to believe that she was only two when Ken and I first got together. Now she is a teen.
I knew there were ways to look up those annoying phone numbers that are always calling you but one thing that I did not know was that you could also look up a Mobile Phone Search. That way you could see those people that are also calling your cell phone and taking all your minutes away. It is so easy to use, all you need is the number that called your line. Type it in the box and get your results. Simple as that. Then you can tell them to stop calling you or even block their number.
Well I was very happy a couple days ago when it was raining all day because our grass really needed some water. Now however I am not to glad for it. I have the kids all day because Ken has school and they can not go play outside. It reminds me of a winter day and we are stuck inside. Oh well I guess we will have to find something to do. There is always some cleaning that needs to be done.
On my websites I have reviewed tons of different products and services over the last year. One that I have actually used quite a few times is the Reverse Phone Registry. We have used it a few times to get the addresses of a couple friends of mine. One friend bought a new house and I always just talked to her on the phone but I wanted to send her a birthday card so I needed her address. I thought it was a little tacky calling her to ask for it so I could send her a card so I just looked it up. I was really simple and easy to do. So I sent he the card and she called me and said " I never gave you my address" she was so surprised. I was glad I learned about the service.
One thing that I like about this semester and Ken in school is that he does not have to go all night long. He goes today and then he gets off at 6:20pm tonight. So we can still have dinner when he gets home. Tonight I am making chicken broccoli casserole. It happens to be one of our favorite dishes. I have already started making it and I will put it in the oven so it will be finished when he gets home.
Well some people may call me silly or some may think that I am over protective of my kids but before Ken and I bought our house in Steger we looked online to see if there were any Sexual Predators living in the area. I don't know if any of you other moms out there have ever heard of Megan's Law. It is basically a law that state it is the publics right to know where they offenders are living. I happen to think that it is a great thing to know because I can never protect my kids enough. I also like knowing that my neighbors are safe in my community.
