My awesome husband is supposed to be seriously studying his little butt off to take his big licensing exam at the end of the month. He’s got these huge books, a whole cd computer program, and binder after binder after binder to study. All in all, I think the materials and the test itself will cost about $500 in the end. He’s set up this little area of the house with two desks put together in an “L” shape, and this is where he keeps all his study supplies. I’m proud of him, and how hard he is working. I do have to say, though, when I get on the computer the next day, I see that he has been to http://www.Direc4u.com/, and facebook, and yahoo, so I know he’s not just studying! LOL! I don’t blame him, though. It is tough to have to work on the same exact device that has all kinds of entertainment. I’m going to tell him that I’m going to install a internet blocker if he doesn’t focus! LOL!

Watching the NFL playoffs in HD through my satellite TV provider, has changed the way I view football. The incredible detail you see in high definition will blow your mind. I first thought it would not be must different between standard definition and high definition. I can now say, I was completely wrong. I will be watching this Sunday's matchup between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots on my HD TV. The two teams will be meeting for the third time this season in their explosive, AFC East rivalry. After splitting their last four contests, Sundays game will be for all the bragging rights in the AFC East. The winner will then take off the winner between the Pittsburgh Steeler's and the Baltimore Ravins, for a birth into the Superbowl.
In HD you will experience all the story lines, the drama, the gameplay, and the hard hits in detail like you've never seen before. All the way from the wild card round, through the divisional playoff, championship round, and on to the Superbowl, catch every minute in stunning high definition that I got after seeing these DIRECTV specials and deals.
Last Christmas we were all in need of new coats. It was not really that big of a deal that we get then at that moment. However my mom did not know what to buy Ken and I for Christmas. She was wondering if she could buy us new jackets. I thought that the idea was a great one. I told her the type of coat that I was really interested in and I even tried a few on to give her a better idea. She really love the idea. As a matter of fact she not only got coats for Ken and I that Christmas she extended the idea to my sister and also to my dad. I guess they needed something to keep the warm outside as well and the new north face was just the place to get that warmth. If you have ever tried one of their coats on before then you know how warm they make you. It was the perfect jacket for a Chicago winter time. We all loved getting our new coats. My dad who is very hard to buy for even loved getting his new jacket as well. It was so nice not to have to buy our own coats.
I wonder what she will think of for this Christmas. I know I always love to get gift from my mom because it is always presents with thought other than getting money.
The Simpsons - My Favorite Fall TV Show Premier
Guest post by Terrell House
The Simpsons have been going on longer than most people have been alive, and it is with good reason. They stay on fresh and relevant, mostly because their characters are cartoons and never age. That is why two decades after the original premier, Lisa Simpson can still go to an art camp and not an alcoholic anonymous meeting. The show is immortal, as our its characters. What I loved about the premier episode, however, was the celebrity cameo. Normally I hate cameos, but in this case the celebrities were people I like from a show that was equally awesome.
You see, when Jemaine and Brett from The Flight of the Conchords made an appearance on the season premier, they did not do so as themselves. They played hipster artists, and this filled me with joy as a hipster artist. After all, I was the only one in the room who knew who they were, and felt a certain amount of hipster pride as a result. I mocked those who had not seen their show and laughed with fallacious superiority. For you had to be a true hipster to know them as hipsters, and not Simpsons characters. I knew them first, and this boosted my cred. This is why The Simpsons were my favorite fall premier, because it was the only show that me feel better about my sad and pathetic existence. It was all thanks to watching this show on my direct.tv.
The Best Halloween Costume Ever
Written by Lawrence Lester
Well today was interesting. I went costume shopping with my mom and my sister. We set the alarm that I found at www.HOME-ALARM-SYSTEMS.com/ for the house before we left. When we got to the mall, we noticed that they had a new costume shop. They had some really good stuff. I was so excited! I couldn't decide which costume I wanted so I tried them all on until I found the perfect costume. My sister told me that I was nuts. My mom and I just laughed at her and asked her if she was new. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and yes, I do go a little crazy with it sometimes. But, that's just me. That, and I had to find the perfect costume for the Halloween party that we're going to tonight. I love the one that I picked out. It's a Medusa costume with the snake head dress and everything. It's hot. I didn't get it for a bad price either. It's like a coral blue color, and it's all flowing and what not. I have no doubt in my mind that I will look great tonight.

Me and my husband used to go to a lot of rock concerts together. Now, we just listen to a lot of the rock albums at home and our son, who's four liikes to dance around really crazy to them like a lot of little kids like to do. My husband thought it would be funny to show him a picture of what some of those rock stars look like, like Motley Crue. We ddidn't think that Ross would wnat to dress up as one of them for Halloween though.
I guess it is kind of funny to dress your kid up as a rock star, but we're trying to figure out how to do it without embarrassing him for years after that. I started searching for inspiration onlien when I came across http://www.cleartvbundle.com/internet_tv_bundle_deals.html and decided to take advantage of it and switch over to the new internet service. Then I started streaming a bunch of old 80s hair metal videos to get my inspiration.
We're buying Ross a little wig that looks liek crazy teased up 80s hair and putting him in all black and sunglasses. But the thing that I really think will let people know his costume as a rock star is teh Guitar Hero guitar controller.

I'm constantly on the road with work, so my apartment sits empty. But I try to make the best out of it by looking up fun things to do during my downtime on these trips.
A lot of these places like New York and Chicago that I go to on business have lots of cultural things to vist and look at. I've even seen some of these same sights and museums over and over again over the years. So I've been making more of an effort lately to see some new things.
I went to WWW.CLEAR-INTERNET.COM a few weeks ago and got a new internet service so I've been using it as an excuse to look up new things to go to on my trip to New York City in two weeks.
I realized that I've never been to the Museum of Modern Art, so I'm going to give that a try. I think I'll also go to Top of the Rock to get a really good view of the city skyline, which I've never done before.
I mean, if I'm going anyway I may as well do some new stuff while I'm there.
Oh with school in full swing I could not be more thankful that I dropped my class this semester. I will go back but I am going to waiting till Ken has to take a semester off to take my class or maybe just when we get out school routine down. I need to get a quartet bulletin board. You see every single day Ben comes home with papers and news letters and papers. I have to keep the dates straight with just about everything. There is fields to go on and a ton of other things. It seems like I am always running around because I am worried that I will forget something. With quartet bulletin boards I might be able to keep everything straight. I was hanging them all on a clip on the refrigerator but Ben wanted to borrow my clip and he lost it. It was fine because actually the papers were to heavy for the clip anyways. It would seem like they were always sliding down and I would be picking them up off the floor.
I am telling you quartet just might be my way to learn organization. I can have one board for the next days items and then one for every other day. It might keep my days less stressful. That might just make my pimples go away.
